2 to 3 pounds lean ground beef
•
1 cup chopped onion
•
2 cloves garlic, minced
•
1 1/2 cups ketchup
•
1 cup green pepper, chopped
•
1/2 cup water
•
1/4 cup brown sugar
•
1/4 cup prepared mustard
•
1/4 cup vinegar
•
1 tablespoon chili powder
•
Split hamburger buns
1.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef, onion, and garlic.

Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender.
3.
Drain off fat.
4.
Combine remaining ingredients (except buns) in slow cooker/Crock
Pot.
5.
Stir in meat mixture.
6.
Cover and cook on LOW 6-8 hrs. or on HIGH 3-4 hrs.
7.
Spoon onto hamburger buns.
